Bespoke Media Walls Seaford

Media Walls Seaford

Bespoke Media Walls & TV Walls in Seaford

A media wall is one of the few pieces of furniture that never moves, so in a coastal town it is worth building properly. Cheap panels and foil-wrapped doors do not cope well with the humidity you get in a seafront house.

We build ours from solid, moisture-resistant materials in our Pevensey workshop and finish them with a properly cured hand-sprayed coat, then fit them ourselves.

We work throughout Seaford, from the older houses along the seafront and around Blatchington to East Blatchington, Bishopstone and the villages under the Downs.

  • Solid, moisture-resistant construction
  • Hand-sprayed finish, never a wrap or foil
  • Electric fire built in safely, if you want one
  • Cables, sockets and boxes completely hidden

3D Design

See your project in photorealistic 3D before a single piece of wood is cut.

Built In-House

Every component handmade and sprayed in our Pevensey workshop entirely by us.

Installed & Finished

Carefully packaged and delivered, our team then professionally installs your new media wall.

Options

Every media wall is built to the size of your room and the kit that goes with it, with materials and finishes chosen to cope with a coastal climate.

Panelled walls with the screen recessed flush, finished to stay flat and crisp in a coastal room.

Electric fires built into proper cabinetry, with a heat-safe recess and correct clearances.

Cupboards and lit shelving built into the wall, with sprayed doors rather than wraps that lift in damp air.

Planning

The two things that make or break a media wall are the height of the screen and how the fire is built in. We settle both before anything is made.

We set the recess around your actual TV and the height you watch from, so the screen sits where it should rather than too high above a fire.

Electric fires all have their own clearance and ventilation requirements. We design to the manufacturer spec for the fire you choose.

Sockets, HDMI runs and ventilation are planned before anything is built, and we work alongside your electrician where one is needed.

Finishes

Every panel and door is made and sprayed in our workshop, so the finish is chosen for your room rather than picked from a supplier’s range.

Flat, fluted, slatted or moulded panelling, chosen to suit the room rather than whatever is currently in fashion.

Hand-sprayed in our own booth in any colour, including Farrow & Ball and Little Greene matches.

Integrated LED lighting behind shelving or around the screen, on its own switch, so the wall works in the evening too.

Specification

No hidden extras and no design fees. This is what every Seaford media wall we build includes.

A free design visit, full survey and a 3D design before you commit to anything, with revisions until it is right.

Solid carcasses, quality soft-close hinges and a hand-sprayed finish in your chosen colour, all made in our workshop.

Installation by the team who built it, scribed to your walls, and a local workshop you can call on afterwards.

Investment

Every media wall is made to measure, so there is no fixed price list. Cost depends on the size of the wall, whether you want a fire, and how much cabinetry goes in. You get a clear, itemised quote after your free design visit.

FAQs

Do you cover Seaford and the surrounding villages?

Yes, Seaford itself along with East Blatchington, Bishopstone, Alfriston, Newhaven and the villages towards the Downs.

Does living by the sea affect how you build it?

It affects the materials and finish more than the design. We use moisture-resistant carcasses and a cured sprayed finish rather than foils or wraps, which are the first thing to fail in a damp coastal room.

Can you build an electric fire into it?

Yes. We design around the exact fire you choose, with a heat-safe recess, manufacturer clearances and proper ventilation.

Will the cables and boxes be hidden?

Completely. Cable runs, sockets, the soundbar and consoles are all planned at the design stage.

How much does a media wall cost in Seaford?

There is no fixed price list, because cost depends on the size of the wall, the fire and the amount of cabinetry. We do a free design visit and give you a clear, itemised quote with no obligation.

Do you make matching furniture for the rest of the room?

Yes. Alcove units, bookcases, display units and under-stairs storage, all made in the same workshop.

Our workshop is in Pevensey and we design, build and fit media walls throughout Seaford, East Blatchington, Bishopstone, Newhaven, Alfriston and the surrounding villages. The team that builds your media wall is the team that installs it. Not sure if you are in range? Just ask.

We also build media walls in Lewes, Eastbourne and Bexhill. See our full range of bespoke media walls across Sussex, or our alcove units and kitchens in Seaford.
