Bespoke Media Walls Hailsham

Media Walls Hailsham

Bespoke Media Walls & TV Walls in Hailsham

Most newer homes around Hailsham have a living room with one long blank wall and no chimney breast, which is exactly the room a media wall was invented for. It gives you the focal point the room is missing, plus storage either side.

We build every media wall to measure in our Pevensey workshop, six miles away, then spray and fit it ourselves. On modern stud walls we make sure the structure behind is properly reinforced for the weight of the screen and the cabinetry.

In the older properties around the town centre, Hellingly and Upper Dicker, we work with the existing chimney breast and alcoves instead.

  • Ideal for modern rooms with no chimney breast
  • Stud walls properly reinforced for the screen
  • Electric fire built in safely, if you want one
  • Cables, sockets and boxes completely hidden

3D Design

See your project in photorealistic 3D before a single piece of wood is cut.

Built In-House

Every component handmade and sprayed in our Pevensey workshop entirely by us.

Installed & Finished

Carefully packaged and delivered, our team then professionally installs your new media wall.

Options

Every media wall is built in our workshop six miles away, sized around your room, your screen and the kit that goes with it.

Panelled walls with the screen recessed flush, built out from a blank modern wall to create a proper feature.

Electric fires built into proper cabinetry, with a heat-safe recess, correct clearances and ventilation.

Cupboards, drawers and lit shelving built in either side, creating alcoves in rooms that never had any.

Planning

The two things that make or break a media wall are the height of the screen and how the fire is built in. We settle both before anything is made.

We set the recess around your actual TV and the height you watch from, so the screen sits where it should rather than too high above a fire.

Electric fires all have their own clearance and ventilation requirements. We design to the manufacturer spec for the fire you choose.

Sockets, HDMI runs and ventilation are planned before anything is built, and we work alongside your electrician where one is needed.

Finishes

Every panel and door is made and sprayed in our workshop, so the finish is chosen for your room rather than picked from a supplier’s range.

Flat, fluted, slatted or moulded panelling, chosen to suit the room rather than whatever is currently in fashion.

Hand-sprayed in our own booth in any colour, including Farrow & Ball and Little Greene matches.

Integrated LED lighting behind shelving or around the screen, on its own switch, so the wall works in the evening too.

Specification

No hidden extras and no design fees. This is what every Hailsham media wall we build includes.

A free design visit, full survey and a 3D design before you commit to anything, with revisions until it is right.

Solid carcasses, quality soft-close hinges and a hand-sprayed finish in your chosen colour, all made in our workshop.

Installation by the team who built it, scribed to your walls, and a local workshop you can call on afterwards.

Investment

Every media wall is made to measure, so there is no fixed price list. Cost depends on the size of the wall, whether you want a fire, and how much cabinetry goes in. You get a clear, itemised quote after your free design visit, and the figure we agree is the figure you pay.

FAQs

How close are you to Hailsham?

Our workshop is in Pevensey, roughly six miles away, which makes Hailsham the closest town we cover.

My living room has no chimney breast. Can you still build one?

Yes, and it is the most common media wall we build in newer Hailsham homes. We build the feature wall out from the existing wall, which also creates alcoves either side for storage.

Is a stud wall strong enough?

On its own, often not. We reinforce the structure behind the panelling so it carries the screen, the fire and the cabinetry safely.

Will the cables and boxes be hidden?

Completely. Cable runs, sockets, the soundbar and consoles are planned at the design stage.

How much does a media wall cost in Hailsham?

There is no fixed price list, because cost depends on the size of the wall, the fire and the amount of cabinetry. We do a free design visit and give you a clear, itemised quote with no obligation.

Do you make matching furniture for the rest of the room?

Yes. Alcove units, bookcases, display units and under-stairs storage, all made in the same workshop.

Our workshop is in Pevensey, six miles from Hailsham, and we design, build and fit media walls throughout the town and surrounding villages, including Hellingly, Upper Dicker, Herstmonceux, Polegate and Westham. The team that builds your media wall is the team that installs it. Not sure if you are in range? Just ask.

We also build media walls in Eastbourne, Bexhill and Seaford. See our full range of bespoke media walls across Sussex, or our alcove units and kitchens in Hailsham.
