A media wall turns the wall your TV hangs on into the best-looking part of the room. Instead of a screen, a soundbar and a tangle of cables, you get a panelled wall with the television recessed into it and everything else hidden behind doors.
We design, build, spray and fit every media wall ourselves from our workshop in Pevensey, about five miles from Eastbourne. That matters more here than it sounds, because the walls we are building against are rarely straight.
In the Victorian houses around Upperton and Old Town, a media wall usually works with the chimney breast and the alcoves either side. In the newer homes towards Langney and Sovereign Harbour there is often no chimney breast at all, so we build the feature the room is missing.

The two things that make or break a media wall are the height of the screen and how the fire is built in. We settle both before anything is made.
Screen size & height
We set the recess around your actual TV and the height you watch from, so the screen sits where it should rather than too high above a fire.
Fire type & clearances
Electric fires all have their own clearance and ventilation requirements. We design to the manufacturer spec for the fire you choose.
Sockets & airflow
Sockets, HDMI runs and ventilation are planned before anything is built, and we work alongside your electrician where one is needed.
Finishes
Panelling, colour and lighting
Every panel and door is made and sprayed in our workshop, so the finish is chosen for your room rather than picked from a supplier’s range.
Panel styles
Flat, fluted, slatted or moulded panelling, chosen to suit the room rather than whatever is currently in fashion.

Hand-sprayed in our own booth in any colour, including Farrow & Ball and Little Greene matches.
