Bespoke Media Walls Bexhill

Media Walls Bexhill

Bespoke Media Walls & TV Walls in Bexhill

Edwardian and inter-war living rooms in Bexhill are generously proportioned, with high ceilings and wide chimney breasts. That is close to ideal for a media wall, because there is room to make it a proper feature rather than a panel behind a screen.

We build every media wall to measure in our Pevensey workshop, about eight miles along the coast, then spray and fit it ourselves.

We work across the whole town, including the seafront, Little Common, Cooden, Sidley and the Old Town, as well as the flats along the front where a slim, well-planned wall makes the most of a smaller room.

  • Designed for high Edwardian ceilings
  • Works with a wide chimney breast, or without one
  • Electric fire built in safely, if you want one
  • Cables, sockets and boxes completely hidden

3D Design

Built In-House

Every component handmade and sprayed in our Pevensey workshop entirely by us.

Installed & Finished

Carefully packaged and delivered, our team then professionally installs your new media wall.

Options

Every media wall is built to the size of your room, your screen and the kit that goes with it, then hand-sprayed in our own spray room.

Panelled walls with the TV set flush into a recess, run to the ceiling to use the height Bexhill rooms usually have.

Electric fires built into proper cabinetry, with a heat-safe recess, correct clearances and ventilation.

Cupboards, drawers and lit shelving built in either side of the screen, making use of wide Edwardian chimney breasts.

Planning

The two things that make or break a media wall are the height of the screen and how the fire is built in. We settle both before anything is made.

We set the recess around your actual TV and the height you watch from, so the screen sits where it should rather than too high above a fire.

Electric fires all have their own clearance and ventilation requirements. We design to the manufacturer spec for the fire you choose.

Sockets, HDMI runs and ventilation are planned before anything is built, and we work alongside your electrician where one is needed.

Finishes

Every panel and door is made and sprayed in our workshop, so the finish is chosen for your room rather than picked from a supplier’s range.

Flat, fluted, slatted or moulded panelling, chosen to suit the room rather than whatever is currently in fashion.

Hand-sprayed in our own booth in any colour, including Farrow & Ball and Little Greene matches.

Integrated LED lighting behind shelving or around the screen, on its own switch, so the wall works in the evening too.

Specification

No hidden extras and no design fees. This is what every Bexhill media wall we build includes.

A free design visit, full survey and a 3D design before you commit to anything, with revisions until it is right.

Solid carcasses, quality soft-close hinges and a hand-sprayed finish in your chosen colour, all made in our workshop.

Installation by the team who built it, scribed to your walls, and a local workshop you can call on afterwards.

Investment

Every media wall is made to measure, so there is no fixed price list. Cost depends on the size of the wall, whether you want a fire, and how much cabinetry and lighting goes in. You get a clear, itemised quote after your free design visit.

FAQs

Do you cover all of Bexhill?

Yes, the whole town including Little Common, Cooden, Sidley, Old Town and the seafront. Our workshop is in Pevensey, roughly eight miles away.

Can you use the full height of the room?

Yes, and in Bexhill it usually makes the biggest difference. Running the wall to the ceiling turns it into a proper architectural feature instead of a panel.

Can you build an electric fire into it?

Yes. We design around the exact fire you choose, with a heat-safe recess, manufacturer clearances and proper ventilation.

Will the cables and boxes be hidden?

Completely. Cable runs, sockets, the soundbar and consoles are planned at the design stage.

How much does a media wall cost in Bexhill?

There is no fixed price list, because cost depends on the size of the wall, the fire and the amount of cabinetry. We do a free design visit and give you a clear, itemised quote with no obligation.

Do you make matching furniture for the rest of the room?

Yes. Alcove units, bookcases, display units and under-stairs storage, all made in the same workshop and sprayed to match.

Our workshop is in Pevensey, eight miles from Bexhill, and we design, build and fit media walls throughout the town, including Little Common, Cooden, Sidley and the seafront. The team that builds your media wall is the team that installs it. Not sure if you are in range? Just ask.

We also build media walls in Hastings, Eastbourne and Hailsham. See our full range of bespoke media walls across Sussex, or our alcove units and kitchens in Bexhill.
