We build fitted larder cupboards that match your kitchen exactly, walk-in pantries, and freestanding larders built like furniture. Each one is made and hand-sprayed in our Pevensey workshop, with solid oak drawers, racks and shelving made for real cooking.

What is the difference between a larder and a pantry?
The two words get used interchangeably these days. Traditionally a pantry is a walk-in room and a larder is a cupboard, often with a cold shelf. We make both: tall larder cupboards, walk-in pantries and freestanding larders.
How much does a bespoke larder cost?
As a guide, our fitted larder cupboards typically start from around £[X,XXX], and walk-in pantries and larger larders most often fall between £[X,XXX] and £[X,XXX]. Every job is quoted properly after the design stage, so there are no surprises.
Are larder cupboards worth it?
If your kitchen feels short of space, yes. A well-planned larder holds more than several base cupboards in one footprint and keeps everything visible. It is consistently the piece customers tell us changed how their kitchen works.
Can you match my existing kitchen?
Yes. We colour-match and hand-spray every larder in our own facility, and we make the doors to suit your kitchen’s style, shaker, in-frame or handleless, so it looks original to the room.
What can go inside?
Solid oak drawers, spice racks, baskets, wine storage and sockets for the kettle, toaster or coffee machine, so the worktop stays clear. We plan the interior around a list of what you actually keep.
Do you only make larders?
No. We make complete bespoke kitchens, alcove units, under-stair storage, display units and other bespoke furniture, all made in our workshop.

Our workshop is in Pevensey, near Eastbourne, and we design, build and fit larders and pantry cupboards right across East and West Sussex, including Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill-on-Sea, Hailsham, Seaford and Lewes. The team that builds your larder is the same team that installs it, with one point of responsibility from first drawing to final shelf. Freestanding larders can travel further, just ask.
