Everything we make is drawn around the room it is going into, built in our Pevensey workshop, then hand-sprayed and fitted by the same team. Each piece is scribed to your walls and ceilings on site, so it looks like it has always been part of the house.
We work throughout Lewes and the surrounding villages, including Cliffe, Southover, Kingston, Ringmer, Barcombe and Glynde. If your property is listed or in the conservation area we are used to working sympathetically with existing detail rather than covering it up.

The traditional fitted wardrobe, scribed tight to uneven walls and ceilings. The natural choice for period Lewes bedrooms and the most sympathetic to an older building.
Sliding-door wardrobes
Useful where a hinged door would catch a beam or a low ceiling. Painted or mirrored, on quality soft-close gear.
Walk-in & dressing rooms
Open hanging, drawers and shelving arranged as a dressing room, often the best answer for an oddly shaped room that will never work as a bedroom.

Door styles
Shaker, flat panel, in-frame or handleless, in hinged or sliding form. The door is the only part most people see, so it is worth getting right.
Paint & colour
Hand-sprayed in our own booth in any colour, including Farrow & Ball and Little Greene matches. A cured sprayed finish is far tougher than a brushed one and can be refreshed years later.
Handles & ironmongery
Solid handles and quality soft-close hinges and runners as standard. We will happily match ironmongery to something already in the room.

Do you work on listed and period properties?
Regularly, and it is some of our favourite work. Listed and conservation-area homes need cabinetry scribed to what is actually there rather than fitted to a standard grid. We work sympathetically with existing features and can match mouldings and detail where appropriate.
My walls and ceilings are not straight. Is that a problem?
It is completely normal in Lewes and it is exactly why bespoke exists. Every piece is scribed to your walls and ceilings during installation, so there are no tapering gaps down the side or daylight along the top.
Can you work around beams and low ceilings?
Yes. Beams, low headroom and split levels are all designed around at the drawing stage rather than discovered on install day. Sometimes that means sliding doors instead of hinged, or a lower run of drawers where hanging will not fit.
Can you fit out the inside how I want it?
Hanging rails at single and double height, drawers, shelving, shoe racks and pull-outs are all laid out around what you actually own, rather than a standard internal layout.
