Hailsham is about six miles from our workshop, which makes it the closest town we serve. Design visits are easy to arrange and, during installation, we are minutes away rather than travelling in from another county.
Every wardrobe is drawn around your room, built and hand-sprayed in the Pevensey workshop, then fitted by the same team that made it. Nothing is bought in and no fitting is subcontracted.
Bedrooms here fall into two camps and both gain from fitted. Older properties around the town centre and out towards Hellingly and Upper Dicker have chimney breasts, alcoves and uneven walls. The newer estates have square rooms that are often oddly proportioned, where a freestanding wardrobe leaves a useless gap at one end and a metre of unused height above.

The classic fitted wardrobe, floor to ceiling with no wasted gap. Works as well in a modern Hailsham estate bedroom as it does in an older cottage.
Sliding-door wardrobes
Doors that need no floor clearance, useful in the smaller second and third bedrooms typical of newer Hailsham housing. Painted or mirrored.

Door styles
Shaker, flat panel, in-frame or handleless, in hinged or sliding form. The door is the only part most people see, so it is worth getting right.
Paint & colour
Hand-sprayed in our own booth in any colour, including Farrow & Ball and Little Greene matches. A cured sprayed finish is far tougher than a brushed one and can be refreshed years later.
Handles & ironmongery
Solid handles and quality soft-close hinges and runners as standard. We will happily match ironmongery to something already in the room.

How close are you to Hailsham?
Our workshop is in Pevensey, roughly six miles away, which makes Hailsham the closest town we cover. Design visits are easy to arrange and we can be back on site the same day during installation if anything needs adjusting.
Is a fitted wardrobe worth it in a modern estate house?
Usually yes, and for a reason people do not expect. Building to measure recovers both, typically adding a third more storage in the same floor space.

Yes. In the older properties around the town centre, Hellingly and Upper Dicker, alcoves either side of a chimney breast are usually the ideal place for a fitted wardrobe, and we scribe everything to the wall on site.
Can you fit out the inside how I want it?
Hanging at single and double height, drawers, shelving, shoe racks and pull-out rails are laid out around what you actually own rather than a standard internal grid.
