Hailsham is about six miles from our workshop, which makes it the closest town we serve. That is not a marketing line, it changes how the job runs. Design visits happen when it suits you, and during installation we are minutes away rather than travelling in from another county.
Every kitchen is drawn around your room, built and hand-sprayed in the Pevensey workshop, then fitted by the same team that made it. There is no subcontracted install crew and nothing bought in flat-pack.
Hailsham splits fairly neatly into two kinds of house, and both benefit from bespoke for different reasons. The older properties around the town centre and out towards Hellingly and Upper Dicker have the usual period awkwardness of chimney breasts and uneven walls. The modern estates around the edges have the opposite problem: rooms that are perfectly square but oddly proportioned, where a standard cabinet run leaves a useless gap at one end and wastes a foot of ceiling height.

Doors set within a solid framework, built the traditional way. The natural choice for the older properties around the town centre, Hellingly and Upper Dicker.
Shaker & painted kitchens
Hand-sprayed in any colour, with solid carcasses and proper drawer boxes. The most popular choice on the newer Hailsham estates, and a considerable step up from a builder-grade kitchen.
Islands, pantries & utilities
Islands, larder and pantry cupboards, boot rooms and utility spaces designed in from the start, which is usually how you recover the dead space a standard kitchen leaves behind.
Materials
Worktops, timbers and finishes
Everything is specified with you at the design stage, and we will happily bring samples to your Hailsham home so you can see finishes in your own light rather than under showroom spotlights.
Worktops
Quartz, granite, solid timber, Corian and laminate, templated and fitted by specialists we have used for years. We will talk you through how each one behaves in daily use, including the ones we would steer you away from.
Timbers & carcasses
Solid tulipwood and oak for doors and frames, with strong moisture-resistant carcasses rather than thin chipboard. Drawer boxes are dovetailed and run on soft-close runners as standard.
Paint & finishes
Hand-sprayed in our own spray booth in any colour, including Farrow & Ball and Little Greene matches. A properly cured sprayed finish is far tougher than a brushed or wrapped one and can be refreshed years later.

Bespoke, flat-pack or showroom: what you actually get

Flat-pack & trade

How close are you to Hailsham?
Our workshop is in Pevensey, roughly six miles away, which makes Hailsham the closest town we cover. It means design visits are easy to arrange and, more usefully, that we can be back on site the same day during installation if anything needs adjusting.
Is a bespoke kitchen worth it in a modern estate house?
