Every alcove is individually measured before being handcrafted in our workshop and finished in your choice of professionally spray painted or natural timber finishes.
Alcove shelving
Open, adjustable shelving built to the exact width and depth of your alcove, ideal for books, records and the pieces you want on show.
Alcove cupboards
Full-height or base-level alcove cupboards with doors that match your room, hiding clutter while keeping the lines clean.
Over counter units
The classic chimney breast combination, closed storage below and display shelving above, made to sit flush either side of the breast.

Do you make alcove units to fit any size?
Yes. Every alcove unit is made to measure in our Pevensey workshop, so it fits the exact width, depth and height of your alcove. No filler panels, no gaps, and no off-the-shelf units trimmed to fit.
Can you match my existing décor?
We can. Doors, shelving and finishes are chosen with you and hand-sprayed in our own spray room, in any colour, so the units sit naturally with your skirting, picture rails and the rest of the room.
Shelving, cupboards or both?
Whatever works for the space and how you use it. Open shelving for display, closed cupboards to hide clutter, or the classic combination of cupboards below and shelving above. We talk it through at the design stage.
How much do bespoke alcove units cost?
It depends on the size, the mix of shelving and cupboards and the finish. As a guide, most alcove projects fall between £[X,XXX] and £[X,XXX]. After we have designed yours, you get a clear, itemised quote.
How long does it take?
As a rough guide, allow around [X] weeks from approved design to fitting, with the fitting itself usually done in [1 to 2] days. We agree the dates with you up front.

We also make bespoke kitchens, fitted wardrobes, home offices, under-stair storage and other bespoke furniture, all to the same standard and all made in our workshop.

Our workshop is in Pevensey, near Eastbourne, and we design, build and fit alcove units right across East and West Sussex, including Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill-on-Sea, Hailsham, Seaford and Lewes.
