About us
Littlejohn bespoke – built on expertise passed down from four generations.
Learning my trade directly from my father and grandfather, i take immense pride in delivering the highest level of work possible. After many years working alongside the family in their business, i decided to start my own. LittleJohn Bespoke was built with a simple ethos:

After more than 16 years working in cabinet making, I started LittleJohn Bespoke to create furniture without compromise. I wanted to take complete responsibility for every stage of the process—from the first conversation and design ideas, through to manufacturing, spray finishing and installation.
Everything we create is made in our workshop in Pevensey, where every project is carefully crafted before leaving for its new home. Keeping everything under one roof allows us to maintain the quality, consistency and attention to detail that bespoke furniture deserves.
For me, cabinet making has never simply been about building furniture. It’s about understanding how people live and creating pieces that feel as though they’ve always belonged in the home.
Whether it’s a kitchen designed around family life, a wardrobe that makes the most of an awkward space, or a piece of freestanding furniture built for a specific room, every project begins in exactly the same way—with a conversation.
I believe the smallest details often make the biggest difference. It’s why we take time to consider proportions, materials, finishes and how each piece will be used every day. Those decisions aren’t always the most obvious, but they’re often the ones that make bespoke furniture feel effortless.
At LittleJohn Bespoke, we don’t build furniture to fill a space.
We create cabinetry that belongs there.

Owner / Maker
Experience: 15+ years in Woodworking
Expertise: Extensive backround in All areas of Cabinet making – Designing – Spray Finishing & Installation
Focus: Ensures high quality craftsmanship and smooth project management.
Passion: To Create the highest quality product in a seamless and professional manner
Fun Fact: Was given a Drill , Jigsaw and sander on his 13th birthday, and started building.
Jim Kernott
Maker / Finisher
Experience: Worked on many Commercial and residential projects at home and internationally.
Skills: Gained Ba Honours at Brighton university in 3D design & Craft
Strengths: Undertaking all cabinet making tasks with precision and Foresight for next stages
Commitment: Ensure all Projects meet the high standards of littlejohn bespoke
Fun Fact: Jim & His Dad were Finalists on a gardening based Competition show aired on Netflix
Poppy Littlejohn
Customer Relations / Hr
Experience: 8+ years working side by side with the Owner
Strengths: Known for greeting clients at HQ with a bubbly and friendly demeanour
Approach: Prioritises staff well-being and ensures they get their daily walkies
Fun Fact: Makes sure her humans Pay her cheese tax every time she hears the wrapper

Our workshop in Pevensey is fully equipped for every stage of the build — cutting, jointing, painting and spraying all happen under one roof. This gives us complete control over quality, timeline and finish, and means your project isn’t dependent on any third parties.
We’re small enough to be competitive and big enough to produce outstanding results. And we’re never too busy to take a call or answer a question.
